I was very excited to shoot the engagement of Dorian and Chris. I will be shooting their wedding later this year and I love to meet the couple beforehand and give them a feel for being in front of the camera. After two rainy day postponements, we finally got the perfect weather. We shot in and around Cape Town which is always interesting and fun. They were so great in front of the camera and so great together. A really lovely couple and I can’t wait to be part of their special day.
I met up with Cindy and Nic early on a Sunday morning at St. James beach so we could catch the sunrise for their engagement shoot. I must be honest and say I am not a morning person, but there is something magical about being on the beach at sunrise! The day seems so fresh and new and filled with happiness.
Despite being a little camera shy, Cindy and Nic were both great. They are so happy together and it really shows. I am so looking forward to shooting their wedding later this year.
